Where was the parade scene filmed in Animal House?

According to today's Register-Guard (Eugene Newspaper), Cottage Grove. There was a article about tonights documentary on A&E's Biography Channel.

I know a lot of the filming was done on the UO campus but I'm not sure if the parade was downtown Eugene or not.
I did a little search. The parade was filmed in downtown Cottage Grove, Or.
