The Turkey House at Island Crossing has water over the bottom of the windows. The river here is forcast to get over 2 feet higher too. Glad I live on the bluff.

6 months and 1 day at Boeing and I have a new job..... I now am on the engine crew [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] Tonight was my first night with my new team, and most everyone is pretty cool, there is one kid that has been there for a year and a half and he thinks he is the poo, but that is his thought [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Dang, I was trying to figure out where in Arlington that footage was. I guess Island Crossing isn't an island or crossing much right now. They said they are expecting things to crest tomorrow late morning. Amazing.
Much as I was griping about the snow levels up here on my hill, but I am glad to be up here now. My back yard is about 4" or more under water, but I am starting to be able to see my lawn(under the water). Still alot of snow up here though. Still raining to beat the band and about 48 degrees. Lots of water to still come down to those low spots.

Wow! Listening to the news about all the flooding on the west side of the state! You guys are getting soaked for sure. I-5 closed and water over the banks all over the place. Lot's of places with five inches plus of rain in one day. If that happened over here half the countryside would go down the Columbia. Stay safe over there.

Still waiting on my winch to show up. Fed Ex has had it in The Dalles for at least the past six days. That's just 30 miles from here and they give "local weather" as a reason for not delivering it. Roads have been bare and wet the last three days and we have been over that way twice. Really poor service but at least I'm not in a panic to get it now, no snow.

Little misty rain with wind and temps just above and below 50 around here, nearly all the smaller drifts are gone now. Getting really muddy which makes feeding the neighbors cows a hassle.
