Rentals at Black Mountain, KY
#1
I'm looking to bring our group from the atv ministry to ride there on May 31. Is there any place in Harlan or Evarts that we can get some rental ATV's? I may have several people who are interested.
Thanks.

Ah, yes, black mountain. Fixed. Thanks.
I found one guy but he indeed got out of the business. I was curious as to why, but he hasn't responded. It would seem to be a good business opportunity but would require some additional marketing. If people don't know it's there, it won't make money. It would probably be a better "side business" for an existing business, such as some of the ATV shops that are already in business.

I thought it would be a pretty good business too. From what I heard, they had a problem with customers thrashing the machines. It just got to be too big of a PITA keeping everything running and trying to collect on damaged quads.
Have fun down there, it's a great place. Where are you staying?

We're just going to drive up that morning. It's about a 2:30 drive from here.
I can imagine that people can be rough on them and trash them. Without big deposits, you would be forced to rent out junk and people treat junk even worse on the assumption that it must be ok. I was afraid of that. What a shame.
