Riding in CT.
#2
If you don't own some land, you're probably out of luck. I live in CT but I have land behind my house. Sure it's not mine but, I wish it was. Look for small trail openings on the side of the roads. If you see a large amount of land not being used, find out who owns the property and ask for permission to ride on it, unless it belongs to landtrust or something like that. There was a bill that was turned down not too long ago about opening a leagal ATV trail. Us ATVers, in CT and out, should get as many riders as possible to help open up and fight to get another bill going that may actually work!!
What kind of ATV do you ride??

Man you'e lucky. I only have an Ozark 250 but I pretend it's an Outlander 800-lol. Well let me tell you this, I bring it through stuff that's made for 800s. You should see the swamp I have to push my quad through. Once I get new tires it will be better. Do you have any accessories or aftermarket parts on your ATV(s)?
I was surprised at the power the little 250 motor had but I can only imagine the comfort and power of a Polaris 800!! What year is it??

My spartsman is an 07 deluxe. I added a front bumper, rear bumper, side protection bars, and a rear winch. And maybe i can see that swamp. We'll have to get together one weekend and do some riding.

I just put a rear winch on my machine and haven't tried it out yet. But I don't think towing your machine wiil hurt. Plus think of the gas you will save. lol
