Default Big Woods ATV Park NC/SC state line open!!

I just got off the phone with Josh (owner) and it is official. They are opening July 25th, 2008!!! If anyone wants to help me explore their 3000 acres next weekend let me know...

They are located near Shallote, NC on the NC/SC state line about 40 mins south of Wilmington.

They let me come down and check out the park today and let me tell you it is BIG. My actual seat time was at least 4 hrs and I'll bet when I go back next weekend I could ride another 4 hrs and never cross paths. We were able to bust a few new trails as well as hit some existing ones. The Conway Bypass Trail is a must! But I don't think I wold go back there with out 4wd and at least 25's unless you got a lot of free time on your hands. If you like water there is plenty for you. Lots and lots and lots of canals and holes... Shake and Bake! I was impressed for a park that's not even open,it offers so much. I even found a few hills to climb. They have something for everyone, even you sport quad guys. The best thing about it all is that as time goes on it will only keep getting better and better.
I got a group going Sunday July 27th. Anyone is welcome to join if they want

The nearest town is called Grissettown, nc just south of Shallotte. The road the park is on is called Pireway rd NW and the property boarders the Wacomaw rivers east side. They are located minutes north of Myrtle Beach.
Directions on maps.google.com take you right past the park.

It's on the Atlantic coast just south of Wilmington - makes for about a 7 hour trip from Knoxville. Stick with Brimstone, Royal Blue or Windrock.
