Question Metro Area MN Riders

Anybody in the Twin Cities area know of anywhere to ride, preferably in the Southwestern parts like Chaska, Victoria, Waconia, etc? I'm looking for a place to cruise ditches or something. Just somewhere to get a quick fix when I don't have time to travel an hour or more. I know there aren't any DNR trail systems out there, so I was just seeing if anyone knew of any places.

Thanks.

Yeah, I've been there quite a few times! I'm actually going there this Saturday.

Hey atvman29. I sent you a message with a few places to ride around Jordan. I'm from Chaska, so I feel your pain.

Thanks man, I really appreciate it. I'm reading it right now. I'm right in Eden Prairie and in the neighborhood my mom lives in, the neighbors look at me like I'm riding a UFO or something when I pull my four wheeler out!

We actually went down to Tri-County today and that place is way better than it used to be! The track in that field is open for everyone, and the new back part is pretty cool if you have a utility ATV. We spent a good 6 hours there today and had a blast!

yeah this area has a lot of anti ATV people.
Last winter, I rode through the ditch by someones home on the outskirts of town. The snow completely covered his yards and I went slow and didn't spin my tires at all. He called the cops and said I ran over his bushes and was jumping out into traffic weaving in and out of traffic. It was a complete lie and when I showed the cop his yard, he basically looked at the guy and said have a good day.

I haven't been there yet, but only because a helmet is required and I don't want to buy one.
unless, have they changed that you need to wear a helmet there?

They still have a sign up, but I can't imagine anyone would care too much. Contact the guy who runs it; his number is on the DNR page.
