Hey guys i just got my atv back with the new 3500lbs winch and the put a brand new battery also they left the atv outside and the battery went south and i have my new trailer that i bought last week im ready to ride i just have to check with the wife about this weekend
My atv sits in a frozen shed for a whole week without running and the battery starts it up at 12* no problem- you sure they just didn't give you some BS story to sell you a battery? Isn't your popo new?

My atv was in a slow pile with about 6 feet of snow on it they gave me a brand new polaris battery that cost about $200 for free beacuse they left it outside last yr when i had my 800 outside the battery was stone dead after 3 weeks out in the cold they say dont leave those glass gel batterys off the charger when it is cold out they will die im going to start the atv up again in a few days then im going to trickel charge it till the next time i ride inside the house.those batterys cant be out in the open air a shed is a lot better.

My battery never dies. You know-when I have the connection tight, that is.

nice!!!
I think there's a few posts in the honda forum I was reading of guys with batteries that are going on 10-12 years...
Any decent atv battery should last a minimum of 3 - 4 years, gel or lead acid no matter where it's left.
