The cabin we rented very nice place.Owners were avid atv"s
Gotta have the fire at night gets really dark there in the woods
a trail in jackman along side of a stream.

There are a few places to eat get gas and 7/11 type stores in the jackman area .Just about every lodging place has direct access to the trails including the hotel there.
Bring spare gas if you get lost your screwed!!!!
I was getting about 85 miles out of a tank riding double and taking it easy a few spots we are at least 40 mile from anything .During the weekdays if we saw 2 other riders that was alot.Gps is a must easy to get lost if you the adveture type.

We are use to riding spots like these with huge hills and white knuckle riding all day so it was a nice change of pace to actually be able to cruise and enjoy basicly relax . Go for a kyak ride on the lake .Head over to moosehead lake to the tourist town. There are trails over there but we never found them.Everyone was friendly everywhere we went .Even the gas at the pumps was normal price i figured it would be high since the location is way out there.

If you have a hunting license you can strap a gun to your quad. Unloaded obviously. I have been checked in the past and as long as you are following the rules no worries.

Here are a couple of pics of some bear hunters we came accross last fall. The bear was over 400 lbs.
