I know everyone has that old rickety "bless yourself" before you ride over bridge around them... whether it's made of sticks & rubber tires or logs-

I'd love to see some- so next time you go riding, take a few pics of that bridge and post them!

Here's a bridge I ride over near me. the pics do it no justice, the rotted boards are so mossy it's like driving on ice, if you try turning when crossing it, you'll just slip right off and fall 7' below into some pretty deep (5'-6' water)-

Here's a bridge we made to replace an old rotten one. Laid I-beams down and bolted wood to the I-beams. We have made 3 of these types of bridges and repaired a few others.

Laid I-beams down and bolted wood to the I-beams.
nice! did you use steel i-beams or aluminum? I love the redneck trailer!!!

I got a kick out of the redneck trailer when I saw it too. I think it was an old Ford Ranger rear end. The I-beams are steel. We drilled a hole every 5' and lagged a 4x6x12 PT to it. Spaced 4x6x8s out with an inch or so in between each one and then laid runners on top to tie it all together. Good strong bridges.
