Hey Brian,

I haven't gotten around to trying that Glenlivet you recommended just yet but eventually I will.

I did try Johnnie Walker Black though and I really like it. Where does that one fall on your brake fluid scale ?

OK...besides work or family, I'd have to say that Making Your Own Alcohol is the best excuse for missing a ride. Be sure to call us when its ready!

Hey Wilson, feel free to give me a call and stop over tomorrow (mid-morning thru early afternoon) to see what we're doing. I'm sure we'll be sampling some of last year's wine. If you were to wait until this new batch was ready you'd get real real thirsty.

Same offer goes for any of my other riding buddies.

Brake fluid scale, love it

JW Black is very good stuff, one of my favorite "daily drinkers" although it is a little pricey for that. Fortunately I was able to get the 1.75L for $45 at costco in naples FL where my folks winter. Picked up 4 of them. The red label pales in comparison. Drinking some Ballentine's Finest right now, a very cheap, gem of a blended malt.

I think we should have a drinking night one of these days. I will bring some single malts that are very smooth, so much so that maybe even Wilson would like 'em. Ok, maybe not that good. I am happy to host everyone at my crib too.

How long have you been making wine? Seems like you've got some serious know-how. I'm really looking forward to trying some of your home brew one of these days.

Drinking sounds fun I definitely want to try some different stuff. I am not sure that "smooth" is where my preference lies but I am willing to experiment.

Thanks for the compliment. I have learned quite a bit about wine making but I am definitely still a beginner.

Again, if you or anybody else wants to drop by Dayville, CT tomorrow we'll be doing some wine sampling while we crush the grapes.
