The last time I went to Callalantee in Mountain City, TN was 4 years ago for July 4th. I was not impressed four years ago and had decided not to return. A friend of mine mentioned the improvements that had been made when he went there last month. I just got back from there last weekend and cannot believe how much things have changed. WOW it is fantastic. The trails were in better shape than I remembered. They have a new manager that seems to care about the park. Her, that's right I said "HER", name is Neeta and she took the time to tell me about the park. Everything in the campground area was clean and tidy. I saw Neeta and her staff working hard everyday. They were cleaning, painting and repairing everything in sight. Oh and the best part...now they have food there at the park. I hated having to leave in the middle of the day to grab a bite. Now I can eat a great lunch and not miss hardly any time on the trails.
