I know that Polaris is sponsoring another ride this year in the black hills, but I am confused as to where they can and are riding. My in-laws live there, and I have called and written all the governmental agencies asking if atving is allowed. All of them have told me no. All that I got from about 4 different agencies was that there is about 5 miles of the Centennial Trail that I can ride on. From the info in the pamphlet from Polaris, it sounds like they are riding up in the Spearfish canyon area, and I would assume that they are following the snowmobile trails. Can anyone help out? I'd really like to spend a day riding next time I come out, but certainly don't want to be somewhere I'm not supposed to be.
