Have you tried "Bad Luck Prairie" just east of Naples, Fl.?

The name applies in this case. Lots of mud 4 wheelers and swamp buggies use the area. You could try calling one of the local cycle dealers for directions. There is always a lot of camping and 24 hour 4 wheeling going on there.

Yes! I have been there and we plan on going at the end of January again.. Have you ver heard of people getting run out of there by the police? Dont they also call that area the blocks? If it is the place im thinking of it's off of 41? Few hours drive from Miami but worth it.

Anyone from the South Florida area with some good riding locations. I mainly ride at lost lake but it seems that it might be getting shut down soon.... Looks like we might need a new place to ride...

I rode there just about bi-weekly from 95 to '97 and never saw any police. Blocks? I assume you are referring to the failed subdivision tracts to the north of the prairie.

Palm Beach County is the worst for running people out. Up there by the drag strip and Pratt & Whitney at a place they call the "tower" with about 3 lakes back in there.

They will also run you out of the resevoir area west of the turnpike. But then again Palm beach passed an anti atv ordinance a few years ago.

Are ATVers still riding in the area by the Sawgrass Expressway just north of Miami or has that been shut down?

Yeah thats what I meant by "the blocks". Thats is where we usually camp out if we stay a few days.
We do ride in the area of I-75 and the FL turnpike.. that is what I called Lost Lake... I think thats the one you meant by sawgrass. Did you ever ride at a place off of PGA Blvd? I think its in West Palm.

I'm also looking for some good riding spots. Unfortunately I can only name the places that have been closed to riders since I've been here:
Sample & 441 in Margate
Gateway Blvd. and I 95
Yamato Rd.

I do still ride at Pepsi Air Dania but am looking for some other spots. I've heard Big Cypress is good but muddy.

If you go out to Big Cypress you might as well just head out the Bad Luck Prarie.. I havent been to Big Cypress but I heard you have to buy a yearly license to ride there because it is a Federal Park. I heard there is another park near Tampa called Croom which is supposed to be incredible.
Where is the Pepsi Air Dania at?

Croom is great place. Many wooded trails, mud pits and old quarries. A little bit of everything for everyone. I think it cost $30.00 for an annual June to June pass.
Crom is on I-75 and State Hwy. 50 exit, about 30 minutes North of Tampa.

PGA blvd west to the highway that heads north to the drag strip. Yep been there. Great place but lots of periodic heavy law enforcement. I was there one time when they set up a roadblock and did roadside DUI checks on everybody leaving the riding area.
Its right in there by the microwave relay tower west of that filling station.
