The only things in the MH that requires 110 is the microwave and the A/C unit, everything else works on battery power..just replaced all interior bulbs to LED bulbs saving 60-70%of battery power, even the tv is 12 volt! Wife needs 110 for her hair dryer and coffee pot and any other items brought along that needs 110. My water system, furnace, lights all run on 12v, the fridge runs on propane like the stove. For me personally, I can easily get by on battery power, it is the wife that cant and the genny solved all that. My razor and toothbrush are rechargable and I can cook on stove or campfire if needed, and the toilet and shower work on 12v so actually I am ok. Being me...it drives me crazy when something doesnt work like it should...just a bug of mine. This comming weekend is morhers day but the following weekend is open......hmmmm....

Sounds good to me too, allowing more time to heal a litter longer! I'm just now finishing the hardest part of fence replacement, and man it took everything in my being, to muddle through it all! Looks good! I'll still bring the generator in case it's needed! Who knows we might even need A/C by then lol

Don't worry about me needing to stay in the mo-home, since I have my, van toy box, just the way I like it, slept very comfortably during Baldwin trip! Also very anxious to try out these new tires! that look to have a great bite, for the kind of trails up there! I'm not one to sit around, twiddling my thumbs, not doing anything, while waiting to heal lol But I'll try lol NOT!! lol

I haven't had my tires on the trail yet and I bought them before last Labor Day weekend. That trip got cancelled then I got my HD front springs that I should have bought 10 years ago, so it will be the first trip with them and the new tires. I can hardly wait to see how it rides. I missed out on the GM Rewards rebate if I bought truck tires from the dealer. I finally got ready to go one day but when I checked the date, the offer expired. I was a one freakin' day late (and a dollar short). I'm trying to shop for tires this week in between doctors' appointments, finishing mowing if we have another day without rain, and all the other things that need to be done. I wanted to mow today but when I looked outside it was all wet. Later everything looked dry, and wet again after that. It looks dry again right now but it's 10:20 pm and I'm not going to be disrespectful to my neighbors like many of them are to me and everyone else.

I have a great business opportunity for you guys. I bought a pair of specially trained performing weevils from a traveling circus and now I'm leasing them out. That's right, I'm the lessor of two weevils. You could put on shows with them and make big bucks. Any takers?

I checked the weather forecast for the next 10 days by Mio and it's getting down to 28 degrees tonight. The warmest night in the forecast is 44 degrees. If that was the coldest night and it was around 50 the rest of the nights I would go after Mother's Day when my friends go. But I'm not going anywhere until it warms up or until Memorial Day weekend, whichever comes first.

St Helen, near 50 every night in just one week, mid 60's during the day, wouldn't want it to be too much warmer, with heads stuck in helmets all day lol Boiled egg allert going on in there! lol It was colder than that on Baldwin trip last week, and still very comfortable on trails. Waiting much longer, and it's going to be too warm, wearing helmets, needing A/C unit built in. lol I will be taking furnace with me, in case it's needed while sleeping, then I'll put it away until fall, since it could be another mo. before I'll be available, to do another trip. Times flying by too quickly already, with summer almost at our doorstep, right around the corner, then the 4th of July races up, seems like overnight, then the long miserable hot, dog days of summer, where the only thing out there on the trails, will be the skeeters, huge black ''biting'' dry flies, and crickets! Been there done that, too many, miserable times before! Never again! Way too hot! So don't blink, decent trail trips are very limited, in our short riding season, up north here, in mi.! Besides....these new tires are digging a deep hole out here, like a wild stallion, kicking at the barn door, insisting to be let out, and RIDDEN!! I just hope I can hang on, as ornery as she's been to me here lately, begging me to go faster, it's going to be a little disappointed this next trip, while still healing after last ride with her, pounding me to the ground, then crashing, cracking ribs, knocking the stuffing, out me, unable to breathe, almost passing out, trying to pull myself out from under ''IT''!! Need to get a roll bar, like Ken has, on his sxs, got one of them, just laying around, somewhere? lol This quad has got me a little freaking, where it rolls, being to darned top heavy, hoping these more narrow front tires might help, where they won't be reaching out to the sides as far, catching/grabbing every little stump, tree, rock on the trail! As long as Ken doesn't push me ''too hard'', I should be alright, I just need to take it easy for awhile, ''for a long while''! lol It still hurts to just try to get out of bed, or even breathe deep, forget about even a simple cough, killer dude! I'm lucky I haven't needed to sneeze yet, that would definitely do me in, ''I'm so serious''! It would, KILL ME! lol Had to sleep setting up, night before last, afraid to even try to lye down, too painful to even try to get up and go, pp. lol Forgive my nasty, potty mouth....pp lol

Haha yeah i've gone up riding the trails in 80 degrees and sunny with some humidity. We had to put on sunscreen a lot and have water breaks and we still all ended up burnt and sweaty and dehydrated. Even a sport quad is heavy to flip over, a utility quad is to heavy. quads are a more fun but a SXS is defiantly safer and more comfortable once ya start getting older. I dont know if you had said this before and i missed it or not but did you go to the hospital? that sounds bad

Everyone suggests that I go, and started that way several times, but after Dr. internet here, filling me in with his own experiences, with broken bones himself, convinced me, unless I had a punctured lung or bleeding out my butt/mouth or both ends lol I should be ok....easy for him to say!! But honestly after yesterday with rain most of the day, finally allowed me, my first day, since the accident, to get any rest, after pulling, tugging, twisting fence posts out the hard ground, with concrete still attached....with NO HELP! Friends and on looking neighbors, quickly find places to hide, when they see ya working! Like my young neighbor couple in back here, where I never saw them all week, until we went to the corner store, for a second, and when returning, watching them dart inside, before we had a chance to even get out of the van lol I would have refused their offer to help, yet I've helped them many time in the 2 years, since they moved in, and offer to help in any way I can, every time we get together, which is often, until there's things going on on my side of the fence lol Hey, there very young, and probably too shy, to offer a neighborly helping hand....yeah right! Lazy is more the proper word....you think? Now after fence is done and painted, I'm looking for something else to do, while waiting on my buddy here, to get his show on the road lol Thats ok, right now, even a little small bump in the paved road, on a cushey custom conversion van....HURTS still! I'm resting from here on out, until we get up there, so I'll be mo ready....ready to lay around, and have Ken serve me Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner w/ snackies!! lol You hear that Ken....lots of snackies....the tasty good ones! lol Can't wait, and possible even do some riding, too, we'll see, how I feel, after we get there!

You should have gone to the doctor and gotten x-rays but you're too stubborn. I'm not going to beg you to go, but your wife should have if she knew how bad you were hurting.

I had an idea today. If I buy an electric blanket and put it in my sleeping bag my friends might let me run an extension cord from their cabin to my tent. That wouldn't worry me like having a propane heater going all night. The way I toss and turn there wouldn't be a safe place to put it. An electric heater wouldn't be as bad as propane but still might melt my tent if I knocked it over. I might end up going next week after all. I got my back yard mowed today. I think it took over 2 hours. If I keep up with it, it shouldn't take any more than half hour, maybe less. I used the bag on the mower and when my compost bin was full I put the rest of the grass in 2 yard waste bags. I didn't even pick up the trash first. I'll pick up what's left another day. Now I can mulch my grass when I mow instead of using the rear bag or side discharge.
