Keep the plow on, it's working great so far. It finally started snowing 6 hours ago and there still isn't even enough snow to completely cover the hood of my truck that was cold from sitting since the day before. Even though it was already after dark and it's been below freezing the whole time.

Started quad and grunted a little more than the other day, when it was a little warmer, same with my van. I might need to keep a trouble light under them both, to keep the oil from thickening, since wind chill temps going down to record lows! and that Alberta clipper doesn't look like its going to clip us....more like a direct bulls eye, so far, in their forecast for Monday.
I've got the whole neighborhood smok'en lol There going to think a new BBQ restaurant/joint just open, in the middle of winter lol The misses is cooking a slab inside for her self and grandson (he just graduated high school today) in her oven, so were having a BBQ cook off! She like hers cooked inside with her own sauce, she makes. I don't like a sweet sauce, where I just use all natural citrus, vinegar, hot sauce. We do this whenever we cook ribs....2 bull headed Capricorns....2 old goats lol

Surprised you can keep the smoker hot enough when it is this cold and windy. Myst be a good smoker! Have never tried mine when this cold, just assumed it would be to hard to mainain proper temps. Do love smoked meats, I make smoked chicken breasts, then grind them into smoked chicken salad....doesnt last long around our house! Darn you.. now I have smoking on my mind....can taste it already.....

I live on a loop road above a lake in Nottingham, NH. (Let the Robin Hood jokes start now) Town maybe has 5000 people all together and it's a big town that's pretty spread out. My property has frontage on both the north side and south side of the loop. I've had situations where it was better to ride on the road than the yard and haven't felt the least bit guilty riding on the road. Everyone has either a side by side, quad, snowmobile, boat, or all of the above. Great neighborhood. So glad I got out of Massachusetts. (One of our friends has started calling Mrs. Moose, Marie of Nottingham.) We like it here.

We had crazy rains yesterday. Lots of flooding around our area, almost up to the roads where they cross some of the rivers. Most of the snow we had is gone. Can't ride in the state park across the lake until we have ice on the lake (looks good right now) and enough snow to be groomable in the state park (not looking so good).

I've been known to grill in the winter with a headlamp on.
