I've been away learning all I could about how the system works in Michigan. Our club president was available to me for two hold days of questions. MATVA, is open to all you guys in Michigan. Not just ATV's but dirt bikes and anyone else that want to help make the trail system better. You guys in the U.P. need to get together and form a group. Association with the MATVA, would not be a bad idea on your part. But have your own group and find out how you can get yourselves established as a trail maintenance group. That's going to help all of us and your group will grow as others see how valuable you've become. We need safe riders to help get the message across to everyone, that our sport is only going to survive if we help make the trails safe. There are two tracks in the U.P. that all families should be able to enjoy. None of those trails should be going to the private sector. The only way we'll keep them open, is we all agree to help out. Snow mobilers, dirt bikers and ATVers. That kind of power, Lasning will listen to. I'll do what I can to help you guys. E-mail me if you'd like.
