I will send you some pics and more info in a couple days. I don't have any of my 1000nds of summer pics scanned.
Take a look at a good Colorado road map. It should show Pitkin , Taylor Park and maybe Tincup and St. Elmo. If you really want to camp, you might consider Taylor Park. They have camping there with showers, gas and food. It is close to Tincup and Tincup and Napolean Passes, but a littler further to Pitkin and Hancock and Tomichi Passes. But you can also go north from there to Taylor Pass which is good also.
And if you see St. Elmo on the map, there is a killer jeep trail to almost the top of Mount Antero(14,000 feet) and it is close to Tincup and Hancock passes from the east side.
So maybe you should go for a week or two. LOL
Let me know what kind of camping(remote or near town) and if you want to ride from camp or trailer each day and I will be able to help more.

I can do, and enjoy, either one. If you think the trail camping might be worth it, I will need to plan on packing fuel and water with me, along with supplies.
Actually, I would be interested in you opinions on good camping areas both near town and along the trail.
This is great! Now I'm getting excited!
