THIS isnt a very bad crash but since no one else was postin i thought i would throw it in. OK this all happend about a month ago me and my bro me on my old LT and him on my dads 01'300ex i was goin up a small hill when i got stuck "i have mud sharks by the way the hill was like 8-10feet tall and it could not go up it it must of been the gearing or somthing" so my bro said ok i will push you up i said are you sure he says "ya" Then you started to push me up when his from tire caught on my spinning rear tire and over he went. I thought he broke his back cuz when he hit the ground the plastic on the handle bars snaped and i was like Ohh my god hes dead but then i ran over and he was perfecty fine. The quad on the other hand was MESSED UP the handle bars were bent like a harley and the key switch fell off so it would not start but now its ok with a new set of handle bars and the switch back on. hope you enjoyed my story.

It was in march 2000, in the last month of Quebec's winter. There was a lot of snow. We left for a long ride in the ATV trails, the dozer did a good job the previous night, we could easily ride 40-50 mph in the trails with a passager sitting on the back. We travelled over 140 miles and the temperature quickly rose to 65 F on this beautifull spring day. It was a lot of fun.
About 40 miles away from our destination, we came across a large field with a lot of water from melted snow. We tried to cross in a dozen different places, each time we had to back out using someone else's winch. It was getting late, so we decided to make a try on the snowmobile trail, a hundred yard on the side. It took us over an hour to cross a long and deep water hole, mixed with melting snow. The last ATV, a Grizzly carrying 10 gallons of extra gas got really stuck trying to get out of the water hole. A large pile of wet snow accumulated in front of the ATV making it impossible to get out.
It took us at least 15 minutes to pull it out of this hole using 3 ATV's with winches. The 3 ATV's were getting pulled toward to hole. After tying the rear bumper of the ATV's on a large tree, we finally got the Grizzly out of the hole. By this time, it was 9 in the evening, we were tired, wet and hungry. We covered the remaining 40 miles of trails in a record time and arrived safely.
Sorry, I forgot to take photos !!!

Here's mine...
Hubby, his brother, and I decided to go for a Sunday ride at our usual place. First thing....his brother got stuck at the top of a hill on some loose stuff...didn't hear him yell for like 10 minutes, finally got to him and hooked the chain up, and pulled him up. He has a '01 Kodiak 2WD.
Next, we have a hillclimb called Big Murph. At the bottom of this hillclimb is 2 mudholes. The ATVs go through one, Pickup trucks go through (or get stuck, whichever you prefer) the other one. I guess my hubby was feeling kind of invincible that day, and he decided he was gonna try to go through the Pickup truck one. Needless to say, he got hung up about 1/2 way through it. He had to get off the Sportsman in all that mud to hook up the chain. Poor guy.
We decided to do some creek running to clean up the ATVs. Then we did a little more riding. We noticed a pond looking thing, and hubby decided he was gonna go play in it. It looked like it was pretty much dried up, there was a little wet stuff there. Well, we're all down there playin around, and he decides he's gonna do a figure 8 through the wet stuff. So, he's doing his figure 8, and his brother (on his 2 legged bear) starts following his tracks. His brother got stuck like 5 feet into it. Mike (the hubby) got about 3/4 done with his figure 8, and gets stuck. Now, here I am, on my Kodiak 4X4 (3 legged bear) with a 20' tow chain, and about 40 feet away from hubby. Well, how the heck am I supposed to do this? There was no way...I couldn't even pull his brother out. The pond was actually a sediment pond that was starting to dry up. The dry stuff we were riding on wasn't really dry...the top layer was dry, then there was like a pocket of air, then more wet clay. Yes, clay. So as soon as a tire spun, you sunk like a cement block. Needless to say, hubby had to take my Kodiak back to his brothers truck, drive the truck to our house, get the other tow chain, and whatever cable he could find, and take the truck through the strip mines to where we were. When he arrived, he brought the 4-ton come-a-long. It took us about an hour and a half of cranking just to get his brothers kodiak unstuck. Now it's about 7 or 8 pm. We started to work on gettin the Polaris out. We pulled 2 trees out by the roots trying to get this thing out. We could only click the come-a-long one click at a time, and the ATV finally showed signs of movement after about 15 minutes of clicking. We worked for about 2 hours with just the come-a-long, then decided to try to use all the cables and chains and hook it to his brothers truck (on top of a 10-15 foot hill) and try to pull it out like that. Well, the truck worked, and needless to say, everyone was exhausted. Our ride started at about 10 am, and ended about midnight. Pics are here We estimated that hubby had about 300 or so pounds of clay on his Sportsman (like that ATV needs any more weight!)
I know it's long, but hope you enjoyed.

worst crash July 4 2001... sand duneing 85miles north of las vegas. the day started out great got there about 6am to beat the heat since it would hit 100 degrees later on in the day and with no rain for a long time we would leave before noon,.. anyway i was rideing on the big hill and told my rideing buddy that i was headed to the next bowl over and that we would be heading home soon since it was 11am and almost 100degrees. as i head over the ridge that i thought was a smooth easy drop the bottom fell out from under me... it was about 35 feet to the bottom and i hit it at about 30 miles an hour. as i launched off this small cliff i sailed a long way and new this wasnt going to be good i settled real smooth on the quad 99mojave as i had what seemed to be forever amount of time in the air ... knees bent etc..standing than the lights went out... i hit the ground so hard i came down on the left side when i was forced down and even thou i had a full face helmet on my fore head still hit the clutch houseing which on the mojave is larger because of the e.brake houseing also; my forehead took 15 stiches to close hours later and my right hand was almost sent thru the thumb throttle as i slide off of the left side it tore all the museles in my right hand . and i broke two of my lower back verbra L-2 L-3 and my friend fines me face down in the sand and the quad about 20feet from me siting normaly.. he turns me over and luckly the helmet kept my face off the sand so i could breath since i was out i had already lost a lot of blood so my friend wraped his shirt aroud my forehead and he had to start my quad and i drove back to my truck the kids loaded my bike up and i drove 82 miles back to vegas hosptail where i needed a wheel chair by this time i was in so much pain i couldnt walk.. well that was the 4th of july and now im back at work and the back is doing bettter it just aches like a bad bruise... and the right hand has like these bump that i can feel where the musles are trying to heal i guess ... i just turned 39 on the 3rd and have been rideing along time from real fast street bikes to bike fast two strokes and this one was a hard hit but im not quiting .. the quad is fine nothing broke but its a tank any way if you no the mojave....one more month off and in the middle of september im going to head out agian and back to that spot of the accident and have a time out for as long as needed thanks for listening to this Jim.

My worst incident was about 4 years ago, I was only 13, I was on my grandparents hunting land in Mcgregor, out in the middle of nowhere, they have a 200 honda 3 wheeler and a pair of 200 fourtrax. I usally ride the fourwheelers, but on the nice day, just after going trout fishing in a spring feed pond I had taken the 3wheeler and left and took off back to the shack, as I was going along at about 30mph, I suddenly hit a pointy rock, causing the right rear tire to burst, leaving me with no control of the atv, sending it sideways and doing a nosedive in the ditch, the funny thing is h20 saved me that day, the ditch was full of water, and i landed on my back, needless to say, if there was no water, who knows what have happened. I walked away with minor cuts and bruses from trees in the ditch and rocks. I think I will never ride a 3 wheeler again, but now am a proud owner of a 400xplor. Hope story wasn't boring and this will never happen again.

Well this wasn't a bad crash but here goes.
About a month or so ago I was riding with some friends on my 87' 250X trying to keep up with a 250R and an RM125 on a dirt road. We were going back to my friends house because my clutch cable had snapped. So we were going down this road almost wide open and all the sudden theres this turn that I didn't see , needless to say I didn't make the turn. I slammed right into a clay wall that went around the turn. I hit my brakes and the fronts just locked up and my rears kept going because my clutch was still engaged because of the snapped cable. My X did a few BIG air rolls and then came down on my after it had allready bounced twice. I got up and looked over the bike and noticed there was about 2 inches of clay stuffed in between the rim and the tire , I was amazed that it didn't break the bead ! I hurt my leg and screwed up my wrist , and burned my leg but other then that was ready to go. I went on going and then I looked back and my right back wheel was wobbling , I bent my axle!! now heres the weird part , I hit the wall with my left tire , but the right side of the axle was bent !!! I figured it was from when it came back to earth from it high flying stunt !! sorry it's so long.
