Any IOWA riders?

I believe the 300+ acres is correct. That's what it said on a sign at the State Fair anyway. There are other places to ride in Iowa. One near Oskaloosa was a coal mine before and I understand offers some pretty challenging hills. There's also a park at Waterloo and another down by Lake Rathbun. There is a some land near Cedar Rapids as well, but they let trucks and jeeps in there so you kinda have to watch out. Since Iowa is mostly privately owned farm ground, there just aren't any big tracts available. Our DNR hasn't made any trails in the state forests. The little parks are kinda fun and it does give a guy an excuse to travel.
