Looks like some of us[Ecorman,Joe,Jeff, and myself] have planned these dates to head up to the U.P for our fall riding tour.

We plan on leaving for Hulburt Mi on Thursday the 11th,we will set up when we arrive, than do some riding.Ride all day Friday and Saturday and than head back early on Sunday morning so we are all rested up for work on Monday.

Anyone that wants to join in is more than welcome, alls I ask is that you pay my way![im only KIDDIN]

We welcome all responsable riders, the U.P is a GREAT place to ride! We are hoping that Rich can host this event for us?He makes an absolute great riding host.If not,we'll tell him what he missed out on when we get back home.Anybody else want to join in?

You can count me in on this one Bill (guys), I missed out earlier this season but the colors tour would be splendid. Are you riding up with anyone at this time Bill or could I join you? By your post, hmm, I would help split the gas and fees, but no funny stuff, I'm taken, lol. By the way don't they pay you to be an ASI instructor anyways? Heck after selling the recon I think you could foot my way, or is that $6,999 m.s.r.p. price tags on those new kodiak's and grizzly's just overbearing, just kidd'n also. I see they offer that tricked out silver anniversary issue and a camo realtree look for $300 more. good luck shopping.

Logleaper [Scott],
You are so graciously welcome to join us.I usually ride up with my friend Jeff but him and I still need to discuss this.He has a motorhome and its my guess he will want to take it?I will let you know what is going on as soon as I can.I just called Jeffs house and left a message for him to call me tonight.I'll keep you well informed.

Another riding friend,Joe is from around the Detroit area,he is going as well.If things dont work out with you riding up with me,than perhaps you and Joe can team up together? One way or the other,we all take care of each other,so definately count yourself in.

OH yah,the silver Grizz? My friend Jeff has one ordered,we hope it will be in before the U.P trip.

Scott,
I just got off the phone with Jeff,we decided that we would be staying at a motel instead of taking the motorhome.Im not real certain what we paid for in motel costs for this past summers stay. Its not to bad because you split the 3 day costs with your roommate.Im waiting for Rich to offer us guys a deal we wont refuse on double occupancy rooms at his place.I'll talk to Joe and see if you guys can ride together,I know it will be ok with him.We only have one small problem.Joe's trailor will only fit one ATV and he pulls it with a car.We will need to find a place to put your ATV?If we have to,I have a 2 place snowmobile trailor that you guys can use.I dont like to travel that far with two ATVs[weight] on it because it has SMALL tires on it,but I will if we have to.Can you drive your PU truck and pull Joe's trailor?

The last time I offered a deal, you cried because there was no TV's in the rooms. Then you found out there are no TV's in the UP.

$40 per night per person for breakfast, dinner and room. That is $2 less than my sledders.

I should be there. I'm going to Nebraska and will be back on the 7th. My trip to Quebec is cancelled till next year. I have some customers from Detroit that want to come up and bow hunt and bird hunt for the weekend, so I get a free trip.

Let's see how that Grizz works and we'll load it up with bait.

See you guys there.

Rich,
Yah,the TV?Well I'll fix that,I'll bring my own.And yes, there are TVs at the Sno Shu,but in your defense, you only really receive a few channels.I have a 13 inch combo TV/VCR I'll bring up for my room and just charge my rommate Jeff an additional 40 bucks per night for its use, this way I stay for free?[just kiddin again]I better be careful here,Jeff usually drives and he may just charge my smart a$$ 5 bucks a gallon for fuel?

Your offer sounds like a winner to me.Are you wanting us to set reservations?Keep me informed. And tell Brian that we LOVED his breakfast buffet and hope he does that again.

Rich, $40.00 is a great price. And we get breakfast and dinner too! I only have one problem... May have trouble leaving on Thursday. At work, they just unloaded a project onto the ol' man's back. Guess the kids couldn't handle it. I may have to get there later, like Friday, with Anthony. In the mean time, see if you can talk up some heat... I don't want to be ridin' in cold, wet weather. And I don't want to see any hunters either! I ain't scared but I'm careful. How do you think I got this old anyway? Never mind, Rich...

Hey Bill-

Forty a night doesn't sound bad at all. We'll only go 3 bucks a gallon on the gas. That should cover me. I'll bring my own TV and save the other forty. If we have a problem working it out I'll still have a ride home. Just kidding. I never leave another in the woods. I'm hopeing Thursday on the Grizz. If so I'll see Chuck for the 29th.

Happy trails to all and ride safe.

Hope that thing comes thru, Jeff. I'd like to see how bad you smoke the others. Me included! Leave a message on my cell fone if you decide to come up.
