Massachusetts Riders...

Anyone here from Mass? I am a fairly new rider (haven't riden in 10 years) and am getting back into it (they couldn't keep me out forever!).
Would be interested in meeting up with people to ride - "have truck... will travel".
I am located in Central MA - and looking to hit the trails. I just bought a Mojave 250 and need to get out!

Unfotuntaly the season is legal over. Trails are now off limits for ORV until May 1st. The close all trails in MA until than for snowmobile use. But when you do get a chence to ride. Western ma is a great spot. Great trails and a fun time to bring the family too. ALso if you are into MX at all. There is a place called Uxbridge that runs a mx track. Check it out. It is a very nice spot. Hope you can sneak some riding in before the winter sets in for good..

Thanks for the reply. Actually, I went riding in Lancaster on some power lines (went for miles and miles).
When I got back to the truck and started loading the bike a cop pulled in and gave me a warning. Said I was tresspassing. Took down my registration (of truck and bike) and put me on "the list". Guess I need to find another spot...

Where were you parked?
Was is at the end of a long road that had a gate at the end. This road begins across from a gas station station.
If this is the same place, then I know the cops have been putting warnings on the windshields of trucks parked down there. It's to bad cause this place was pretty cool and close by.

It was off of rte 70 - the parking area is just off the street. It is in the big pit area. I know where you are talking about - its not far.
I guess lots of people recently have had run-ins with the cops. Too bad - it IS a great riding area - no houses, tons of trails and lots of sand pits here and there.
Oh well...

That place off Rt.70 was pretty good. Now there is a big sign warning not to ride there, so, claiming ingnorance will no longer work unfortunately. Uxbridge is fun as long as you don't mind spending the money. I heard a rumor about the Southwick track allowing non-race riding times. I can't confirm nor can I get to their website to find out "www.moto338.com".
