I would like some info from you guys. how big is the place? Is it open year around, we are planing feb. or march. Are there campground nearby? How about the night life? A group of us from MN want to get out of the cold and have a little fun any info would be great.

 

lil sahara was surprising to me, I thought it would be too small, but found it to be big enough to have a few days of fun there.You camp right next to the dunes.You bring your own night life mostly.As for being open year around, I'm not sure,I just checked the weather and its 35 degrees and it looks like a hot day would be 45 degrees.Dudes,,,you might as well make a trip to the Imperial sand dunes "GLAMIS". New years then presidents day are the next 2 big weekends there.It's "only" about 2500 miles for ya one way(as the cheesheads told us last yr)~~have a good ride~~

 

Little Sahara is open year round, but like he said, highs in the 40s. Dont sounds like much fun to me. I try to go up there about once a month. The next big weekend @ Little Sahara is April 6 & 7??? Heres the website. http://www.waynoka.com/littlesahara.htm
