Tug Hill , New York State land , just got back - GOOD TIMES
#1
hi , 23 of us from PA went to Tug Hill NY for the past w/e and we do plan to go back .
here is a link about it
www.absoluteatv.com
we rented a lodge , it was 3 stories ,it was right out of a magazine . all wood , fire place , moose heads , on a lake , rustic furniture , last lodge down a dirt road .
the riding was good too . it was on 78,000 acres of state land . it is a BIG snowmobile place in the winter . there are over 20 places you can RIDE to from the trails . bars , gas , food , bait etc.
we did not see all the trails of course.
i thought most of the riding was too easy . the trails are mostly sand & wide enough for trucks . you can really fly , the 4x2's in our group loved it .
we did find power lines , so we did a little climbing & found some mud . we did use the winch , so by that , it shows us utilities had fun . crossed some creeks too .
we kinda had a couple small groups of us that went off on our seperate ways . my group did about 70 miles over the w/e . the
" hard core" group did over 120 miles .
we do plan to go back .

hey there markf
i'm not too far from you and i have to tell you that every where you go it will probably be illegal.
I live right next to a powerline so i am pretty lucky, but still there are always people that are jealous because they don't have an atv and they have to go and close down their trails. I guess it gives them a feeling of power or something.
If you are registered and insured try hauling your atv up to rushford NY, its about 45 min away. They allow riding on the state land up there. Its pretty neat if you make it all the way up to the hanging bog area.
we live pretty close,
any time you want to hook up and go riding i would be more than willing to go and show you a few trails.
