Does anybody ride in nevada and if so where and what?

 

8 years ago I rode at that AirForce base. I think it was called Nellis.I had an 89 Banshee. I rode at dumont all the time that might be in CA.
There is also some forgotten sand dunes in Tonopah. I lived there for a year and rode them at least twice a week. If you go to Tonopah get a phonebook and look up Joey Fitch. He would love to take anybody out there to ride for the day

 

Thanks bushdogz those sand dunes your talking about are they close to amargosa? So you dont ride in nv anymore?

 

I live in Vegas, NV and im goin to get 2 DS650s and i want some good places to ride... any sugg.?

 

Wow did you pull up a old one. I knew I haven't posted in a while and was wondering who was posting under my name when i saw the date. As for riding in vegas the only place i know of is out off I-15 on Apex. Its right next to Nellis AFB. Theres some small sand dunes and lots of rocky hilly trails. Hope you have full skids cause you will need them out here. Other than that theres Dumont about 2 hours away or Corral Pink the other way out in Utah about 3 1/2 hrs away. Ill be out at nellis this thursday and friday 19th and 20th come on out. We love new riding partners. ill be in an Itasca motorhome and green chevy 4x with lots of kids and dogs. Jay

 

I ride in Nevada, cept' I live in Reno so I spend time at Sand Mountain or hit a few trails around Virginia City and Pyramid Lake.
