Have they started to charge riding fees at Lake Murray ORV area yet?

 

Yes, they are charging $7 per person per day. It is a fun place if you have never been there but it gets old if you ride it alot. Rumor has it that they are going to add about 1100 acres but i am not for sure. A few new rules and they put up a fence around the whole perimeter and tickets start at $150 and go as high as impounding your bike. They did add campsites and showers and bathrooms but if they do not add any more land it is not worth staying the night for. you can cover most all of it in a day.

No problem. Where are some good riding areas in northern TX or southern OK? I am getting sick and tired of seeing the same area over and over. LOL

 

They also closed off about 1/2 of the riding area. They closed the back half with the little swamp and such. Other places are Muenster(in Muenster, TX), Rocky Ridge(near Sanger, TX), Red River ATV(Bonham, TX), Broken Bow(Broken Bow, OK), etc.

 

You were never really supposed to ride in that swamp anyway. That is private land and someome made trails onto there. Besides that they only cut off 200 acres on the east side. Rumor has it that they are going to buy the land where that swamp is all the way to the highway and add a bunch of land.

 

I never knew that. Its like most other places, you find a trail and ride. Most places dont mark the boudaries at all.
