Be safe and we will be thinking of you.

Thanks Kori,
Yeah we're meeting at 9am at the parking area off of Nettleton Gulch.
See you there Jay. Looks like there will be 6 for sure, still maybe a couple more. It's going to be fun.

Well, Nancy doesn't want to go to Canfield, so we will be going to Mica after all. You'd think we were married or something the way I let her tell me what to do eh?
Anyway guys,,,don't forget that next Friday my wife Billi Jo will be going for a ride with me, so if any of you have wives that only like to ride with you if there is another female along, this is your chance to get her out for a ride. I hope the weather accomodates us so we can go have fun.

Sure been quiet in here. Anybody been doing any riding?
We had a great day today. Finally got that trail punched through the snow from Canfield to the 1535. Rockwoman laid down a nice two track.
She really likes the idea that she can get through snow where I can't.

Mark- Sounds like you all had fun yesterday. We are hoping to go over to the OHV park next sunday with heather. Her basketball stuff ends on saturday so we are going to head over on sunday. We went and checked it out yesterday and she was so excited.

A trail punched through from Canfield eh? So does that mean we can get over to Spades Mt. from Canfield, or are most of the trails still closed to ATV's? I'm busy this upcoming weekend so I wont be able to make it over the ORV park, but have fun over there.
Some friends and I went down to Juniper Dunes to ride bikes last weekend. I've never done any dune riding before, but after I got used to the sand it was a lot of fun. Besides it was blue skies and 60+ degrees...how bad could it be? It did get repetitive after a while though. Pretty soon all those dunes start looking the same. It sure made me grateful that I live where I do! Those guys who ride nothing but sand don't know what they're missing...and I'm not going to tell them .

Heather and you guys are going to have fun. I know we did.
Kavaday that's really cool. I didn't know you can get into Juniper Dunes. Is the access back open to public use? I would love to spend the day in the sand.
The main roads are still being groomed so that would require a snow mobile registration and a grooming sticker. Up until they stop grooming. Otherwise, trail 28 itself is open year around, if you can get through. Of course you can't get to it unless you have the registration and sticker. We were able to ride from Windy Ridge to Burnt Cabin Summit on 28, so at least that part of the trail is passable. Not sure what the trail looks like up toward Spade Mt. but I wouldn't make an attempt with out a chainsaw. Or you could run the groomed trails up, but what fun is that?
