Unfortuantely, will not be able to be apart of this ride tommorrow. However, we are looking forward to the ride on July 8th. It sounds like this ride tommorrow is a Polrisitis re-union. On the 8th. of July......the una-Bomber will be there.

Ragged, I ride a 10yr old Honda 300 2wd . I started out with a 300 4wd, but it beat the heck out of me, and I rarely needed 4wd. I can see your point with Ozzy, I agree they spew alot of junk, but I really enjoy the music.
If I was to buy a quad today it would not be a Honda. They make great machines, but they are just behind the times for now.
Should be a good day for a ride after the rain stops. Would have liked to of joined you guys, but I already had yesterday off. Hoping to make it on July 8th, but will be coming home from vacation the day before.

Very interesting comparison review over at another site (forbidden word apparently to mention other sites on here). Appears there has been some concern on the Bombs and their frames? You could copy and paste a setence and find it via a google.
"When we tested the Outlander three years ago, we found positive results with the new style frame, such as reduced weight and less underbelly drag in deep mud or snow. Since then, we have seen a few machines in dealer repair shops. Interestingly enough, the frames don’t hold up to collisions very well. The square channel can bend quite easily in an accident and the durability is lost. The frame must be replaced and this can lead to an expensive incident. The new Outlander 800 has the same frame but due to the new larger V-twin engine, the frame is slightly longer and that worries us about it's durability."
"Polaris was the first to produce an automatic transmission, mostly because of their snowmobile background but any background in a new industry would be a headstart on finding the right combination. Many feel that Polaris now produces one of the best ATV transmissions on the market, producing a smooth, durable, easy to use powertrain."
Of course, this is just one of many reviews that might be slanted. Just interesting to see considering the whole weight discussion. Perhaps somebody took some shortcuts to get that weight eh? Time will tell. Whomever ditches their quad first loses.

For those who didn't make the trip, awesome ride today. Give it a few more days of hot weather and we will go everywhere, snow will be gone. Ragged, hope you remember to show everyone the picture you took for Can Ham guy. Too bad he couldn't make it up the hill with his machine. GWP, thanks for giving me the first hand view of the Polaris skid protection, looks first rate. Viper, we have to do this again soon. Thanks for a good ride all, can't wait for the ride on the 8th.

800TwinEFI...This post only goes to show several things ( I wouldnt have even commented but...felt like this needed to be pointed out). Firstly, innovation. The Bomb frame is revolutionary. They do recommend skid plates IF, you are going to be seriously mudding or rocking. Are people going to have things to say about something NEW? The SST frame on this machine is one the "smartest" innovations in this already "stalled" industry in a long time. Secondly, "many feel that the Polaris transmission is one of the best in the ....".
Who says??? The Bomb has the highest rated EBS....even over the Polaris, and they were top dog on this one for a long time.
Finally, search hard and long enough and you WILL find critics of perfection. When one has to do a "google" search and reach into publuic domain to find criticism...you are hurting.
C'mon man, accept the facts. The Bomb is clearly a superior machine. Again, we are not talking about 'apples to apples.' Polaris: Engine size (760cc), weight (800lbs.+) and service history (worst in ATV history) is where Polaris is tops.
