Ragged--that video was AWESOME!!!! A girl i work with lives around priest lake and she talks about the snowmobiling her and her boyfriend do. And i am like if you only knew what true riding was about HEHE!!
I think last fall heather rode against mckenzie not srue. SHe hasnt been outas of yet this year.
Heather took 4th overall today. THe first race her machine quit running due to a puddle issue. SHe took second on the second moto so she was happy. Her trophy collection is gettign bigger!!!

Ragged;
First of all, there's nothing like watching a 8-10 thousand dollar sled crashing down a mountain Ouch my wallet.
Second, and more importantly, you mention McCall Idaho. I happen to be a worldmark member and can get awesome accomodations at the worldmark resort there. We should plan a ride up there with all the online guys. I can book a two bedroom condo there that sleeps six and is equipped with literally everything right down to the pots pans silverware and gas grill for $88 bucks/night at the highest, and $22/night weekdays during the low season. I can get as many two bedroom suites as we would need. Go online to the worldmark/trendwest site and take a look at the McCall Idaho resort. They also have one on arrow point if we all wanted to do a little closer get together/ride. These things have cable TV, gas fireplaces, the works so the wives would love it.
I use what's called "bonus time" which means I pay 4 cents per point. The rooms are given a point value based on time of year, and also weekday versus Friday/Saturday which are more expensive days. But considering that the highest we would have to pay is $88 bucks/night for a room that sleeps 6, it's pretty darned cheap. The only "catch" with using "bonus time" is that I cannot book the room more than two weeks in advance. This is Worldmark's way of filling up otherwise unbooked rooms. We could only plan the trip two weeks in advance but I think we aught to do this this summer. If you know the area from snowmobiling, it would be awesome to get a bunch of atv's up there and see the high country.
What do you guys think????

Ragged, Ragged, Ragged...... you guys are $%@% crazy. Killer vid!
Jay I'd love to ride the McCall area. Hard for me to plan out trips in the summer months though. Work keeps me pretty busy.
AirJunky - It was a pretty short ride, but did have fun. Glad everything came out ok. Well accept maybe Fat Larry, but otherwise its all good. Was pleasure to meet you and I'm looking forward to some more rides. I'll get that video up just as soon as I can.

Ragged;
Of course the wives would come along. We could either share a 2 bdrm, or bring the kids too and each take our own 2 bdrm. Even if we went on the weekend during the busy season the rooms are only $88/night. There is a bunch for the wives and kids to do there if they didn't want to go on some gnarly all day mountain assault with us boys. Check out the website and it will tell you about the McCall location and what is there. I'm pretty sure they have an indoor pool too.
Rockman; Like I said, using my "bonus time" we can only book the rooms two weeks in advance anyway so planning this thing would have to be real flexible for all of us. We may find that the place is booked when we wanted to go; But in that case we'd take a look at the Arrow Point location instead. That would rock too!. Nice central spot for all the guys to get together, and I'll bet you could ride into the hills there right from the parking lot. The arrow point location was originally built as condominiums, not for Worldmark. They are more like houses than hotel rooms. The one Billi Jo and the kids and I stayed in last year had a master bedroom with it's own large master bath. There was cable tv in both bedrooms and in the living room, a large dining room with a sliding glass door looking out onto the lake. We paid $22.00/night at that particular time because it was during the week, and late in the fall. These things have gas grills on the deck, all pots pans glasses silverware, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, you name it. They don't allow any pets of any kind.
Guys,,,,,we gotta do this,,,,it will be fun The wives will even like it. It's like camping only it's camping that even the pickiest wife will love. And did I mention there's atv's involved??? wooooo!!!

It is usually about a 30-35 mile ride, last year there were around 900 riders. Start around 9-10 in the morning, at the Wheel Bar. You have 4 card stops usually somewhere along the way, then finish back at the Wheel. No need for GPS, well marked trails, not too difficult, but keeps your interest. Loads of fun. Lots of trails, we try to stay off roads as much as possible, but sometimes have to go from one section of trail to another on the roads. The cost is $5/hand. Play as many hands as you want. Prizes for the best hands, drawings for lots of other prizes all after the ride. Good prizes, set of atv tires usually, a booze basket full of goodies, lots of other things for the atv. Come on out and join us. April 29th.
