Man wouldn't that be great! Yeah it's dusty up there already. A couple of us did a sort of 'pre run' of the route on Sunday. Nothin but dust. Although not really bad yet. Didn't come across any snow. But had a blast just the same. It's gettin to that time of year. When your group riding you either slow way down, or better yet you space out and give the dust a chance to disperse a bit. Looks like it might be a bit cooler on Saturday, should be a fun ride. Some wind would help too.

I won't be making that ride. Have to do some much needed maintenance and repairs to the KQ. Get er ready for Memorial weekend. I've got to replace the upper arm bushings pretty much all the way around. I was told I've been jumping it too much....? Is that possible? is there such a thing as too much jumping? I'm planning on moding the front A Arms to address the high speed 'twichy' issue while I have it apart. I'm going to add a couple more degrees of postive caster and bring back to the spec most other quads have. (4 or 5 degrees) Planning on a couple of other mods too so wish me luck. Rockman: dont know if you've been to the NYROC site, but there is a step by step with pictures on that caster mod in the KQ tech tips section could be helpful. Also some other great mods in there too. Let me know how it turns out Im planning to do the same with mine over the winter. dont want to have it apart during riding season.
I sure hope I get to go riding with you guys one of these days, this working almost every saturday is killing me. good luck with the mods.

P.S. sorry to here about the helmet, theres no lower form of life on this earth than a *@!%$@ thief. may they all rot for eternity

Jay...

Left you a message at home. Do you want to go to Mica on Thursday? Meet up at noon at the store? Dunno what you will check first, the answer machine or here...Went up to Mica again last week.. There is still snow at 5300 ft.

I have a friend that may want to go Jay.. We went to a different part of Mica this time. We went thru private land, my friend knows the owner, pretty nice place to ride. The turnoff was way before the washington one..

Mtnman...
Yeah cool. Jay and I go alot on the weekdays. Just drop me a email, i think your info is still in my truck. Drop me a email off of that paper and give me your info again just in case.

Anyone hear about the kid that got killed over in Idaho a few days ago? I think it was in Saturdays paper. Kid went up a steep incline and rolled his Honda. Rode it back to camp and went to the ER then died.. Man, hate to hear stuff like that.. He was in his late 20's..

Later all..

Jeff;
I got your message just now. I had to sleep all day because I worked 12 hours Tuesday night. Unfortunately I picked up an extra shift and I have to work tonight as well, so riding on Thursday is out. Thursday afternoon my wife and I are going to go and pick up the camp trailer we bought. Sorry to let you down two weeks in a row Jeff. Last week, after I talked with you on the phone, I got loose and could have gone, but didn't have your number to call you back. You have it blocked on caller ID. I've got it now though, so we shall ride again.

FYI folks::: Boys,,,,never, ever, under any circumstances should you ever take your wife with you when looking for camp trailers. I went to go get a seven or eight thousand dollar trailer, and ended up with a near new 27 foot monster with a big slide out. Oh what a joy that is going to be to pull around eh?

Hey guys, the scrambler is sick. It has finally taken a poop. 5 years of wear and tear and she is tired. This is the first time I have had to take her in to the shop. What a good bike because I am a fat *** and I don't ride like a girl, so she has taken a lickin and has kept on tickin... until now that is.. hence,I won't be at the ride on Saturday and I probably won't be going camping on Memorial day weekend like I was planning. She is at the doctor and they say it will be at least 2 weeks before they can get to her. I am sad...........

Taken a moment of silence for Nancy in her time of need.......
and a hardy Get Well Soon for the Scrambler!!!

I'm waiting on parts for the KQ too. I'm really hoping they are here before Memorial weekend. Otherwise we're left to double up on the Vinson. Which isn't to bad if it weren't for the fact that Rockwoman always refers to me her ATV biotch.
