Just make sure the guy didn't steal the Saab right before stealing your helmet. Probably best to let the cops handle it from here. The way things work today if you go kick the $%#@ out of him and get your helmet back he'll probably sue you, take all your money, and have you tossed in jail. No such thing as justice anymore. Remember, revenge is a dish best served cold.

May I recommend this site as a good site to consult if and when you find this guy. http://www.ftfindustries.com/revenge.htm
People may cross me once, but they sure don't do it a twice.

Jayman that sucks. I know that helmet well and if I ever see it out and about I will be talking to whoevers head is in it. You may want to check the pawn shops too and put the word out. I have two kinds of people I dream of running into...Poachers and thieves. They are the pond scum of the world and I would love to be the one to make them suffer.
Nothing illegal but a whole lot of torture and embarassment. I'm sorry my friend........

JayDeeCoy...wow. Just goes to show you what kind of a world we really live in. I hope you can recoup the helmet and send someone to the icehouse! Went on a solo ride up Bunco Rd. yesterday...fantastic. You talk about miles and miles to ride. A great place for a family ride with stunning views of lake pend 'd orielle (something like that).
Looking for a little more challenging stuff though...still considering a ride possibly in the Moyie springs area or up the Yaak in Montana. Anyone been over there?

Hey guys, after Saturdays ride (which was fun by the way.....thanks) when I pulled into the parking lot I noticed that there was this tick ticking going on. After getting it home and doing a good look over I think it's my belt. It only does it when I am in motion and when I just sit and rev the engine it does nothing. I also found the dreaded fuel filter in the front of the bike under the cover, it's in line but in a strange place. I will replace that to see if my problem during the ride was that or just bad gas. I am going to try to fix the belt myself and am wondering if anyone knows if I need any special wrenches or odd tools that I don't have. My old boyfriend put a new one on a long time ago and stupid me sat by the fire drinking beer instead of paying attention. I think it's as simple as pulling off the cover, taking the old one off and prying the new one on. Am I correct or do I need the shop to do this? Thanks.

Nancy, I don't think you'll need a shop. The cover is easily removed, and then you need to spread the cluthes a bit to get the belt loose, and out she comes. These guys can probably give some more detail than that, but it's pretty easy. See you tonight at work

I filed my report and if the Albertsons guy can get even a partial plate number, the cops will be called into action.

Pastor,,,,be careful with the throttle. I accidentally wheelie'd mine too far and gave the tailpipe a whack on the ground. That knocked the little rubber grommet on the muffler hanger out and I've had the muffler held up via bungee ever since. I gotta go get a new rubber grommet, and take it easy on the go button.

Just heard on the radio there will be a Poker run in Elk River on Saturday. This would be about a 3 hour drive for Spokane. There is lots of camping available. If anyone is interested I can find out more.

MHWASH;
There is also a North Idaho ATV Association ride next Saturday Morning starting at 4th of July pass at 0900. It's a family ride and so I guess I will be needing a helmet? Rockman,,is that the rule on family rides?

Not a rule, just a recommendation on wearing a helmet. Under 18 it's the law otherwise it's your choice. Personally I like my brain.
