Wow..what a day.........Wish you coulda made it Jay..coulda used another winch!! LOL
We started at Mica and ended at Cour d alane area...Found lotsa mud and steep climbs! only fliped it into a endo 2 twice! The secound time I broke the break lever off! and we were realy woundering how we were gonna get it back cuz we were several miles out and had alota knarly trails to get out....and with not breaks it would be impossible unless I was tied on to some one..
Then Chris came up with a great obvious idea ....He had a foot break on his bike so we took his hand break off and put it on mine and away we went! Think I'll pick up a spair break lever since there 3 of us that ride Polaris! :-)
I AM STIFF AND SORE! Time to take a shower and hit the sack!!

Met Mud Slinger today...He has some verrrry sweet lookin 500 Sportsmans! DECKED OUT! This guy gives new meaning to quadin with all the places he goes but then again you can do that when your retired! Can you show us some of your secrete stash of spots their Mud slinger??

Took a drive to Roman Nose today after work...IT WAS SNOWING! That sure is a beautiful area...up there near Priest Lake! Rocky cragy coll stuff...Think Im gonna do a hike in and camp there 4th of July weekend...

Rode about 100 miles on Sat south of Wallace. Lot of fast road riding to get to different trailheads. Still too much snow to reach the peaks and will probably be a couple more weeks before we'll try it again.

Has anyone rented out any lookouts in this area? I know there are quite a few in MT and have seen one or two near St. Maries, but that's about it.

Anyone have any 26" tires for sale? Ed's motorcycle sells most for about $90 each installed. If you take in your own they'll mount them for $15 apiece. Seems pretty steep from what I've been seeing on the net. Maybe Wallie World or Schwab will mount for less???

Called Nebraska Tire and all they have is 26/10/12 489 XT's for $40 apiece shipped or 26/12/12 589 XT's for about $50.

 

Hey guys, just thought I would pop my head in and say hey. I went riding at riverside this past weekend, wasn't too bad up there. I think I am out this coming weekend but I am not 100% sure yet.

Arron...There is a fire look out that is rentable if you continue N outta Kingston...There is another fork in the river just before the work camp..go right ...we camped there...but you may be right ..by the time we rode to th tower I think we may have been in MT.....

I would really like to do that some time..I think the kids would luv it too.... :-)

Had a Moose walk up the the window this morning while my wife and I were doing our reading...She looked up and here is this long fce pearing in at us!! LOL I grabed the camera and snaped a few pics before it preceded to trim my fruit trees for me... :-(

Riverside is up by 7 mile, it is an ORV park so there are some trails (not many) mostly just open riding alot of whoops some sand like substance, hills to climb, it is a great place to just get a way, I still perfer trail riding more because of the add difficulty but this place was fun. It was the first time I have been there, was a great place to play tag though we had a blast playin.
