There's a new trail in the Grizzly Peak/Creek area that needs some work to get ready. Mostly just cutting the brush back. We could use some volunteers. This Saturday Aug. 27th.

I'm going to be going up the north fork Sat to check out some hunting spots, so I could come by and help for a while. What equipment should I bring?

That'd be great. Take the 961 (it's just after Steamboat creek) up to the Eighty day saddle. N 47 41.635 W 116 7.050 The trail starts there and heads down along Grizzly Creek drainage. We'll probably be there until early afternoon....or so. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Some pruning shears and/or hand clippers. Basically just cutting the "face slappers" back.

 

So the stihl 064 with the 36" blade would be "overkill"?

Have fun everyone. Its heathers birthday on friday and she flies back home that day so our weekend is going ot be tied up doing birthday stuff. Also brad is recovering from a tree incident. He cracked a couple of ribs.

Yeah a 36" blade would be overkill.. lol There will be some need for chain saws, I plan on taking mine and a couple of the others will have em too. Just remember if you carry a saw your supposed to carry a fire extinguisher during fire season.

Ouch Kori. Tell Brad hope he heals up real soon. Tell him he needs to practice safe ATVing especially when he's up Uranus.
