The club I am in considered it, but we decided on going to Wallace, Idaho this year for their jamboree. Four off our members went this past year & loved it, take a GPS to map the trails. The club is planning on going next year.

Well I've never actually attended the Jamboree. Last year was the first year I was in town for the entire event! What a rush it is! As you can tell my town, Richfield, is host to this great event and all the super folks that make it really happen .

I don't know where you are from but 1700 miles puts you quite a distance. We have always participants from all corners of the nation attend. Last year we had some Canadians, Tronto area, and even some folks from Germany come to the Jamboree!

At my place we traditionally host groups from VA, CA, TN, AL, KS, AZ, and many others that I have not mentioned. I can tell you that these fine folks really make this place rock for a week.

The following is a shamless commercial plug.

I own and operate the Best Western AppleTree Inn right in the center of town, www.bwappletree.com, If you are coming we would love to host you and your group also!

Topcat,

Thanks for the info. I'm coming to the event, and BTW, I'm registered at your hotel for 7 nights. 9/17-24. I'm sure that it will be a very nice place.
