Who has been here riding? I got a video from a friend of a trip his son took out there a couple years ago and it looks like an excellent place to ride.

Whereisthemud;

You won't find mud in the Ouray/Telluride/Silverton triangle......just lots of rocks and absolutely magnificent views. I've ridden over those dirt roads for many years. You can find maps in any
of those towns. Please don't ride off those roads, as there is always the danger we'll be banned.
The US Forest Service had installed a "User Fee" station on the trail from Ouray to Telluride, and
that didn't sit well with me, as I've ridden there almost every year since 1980. Have you ever seen
a US Forest Service OPEN a new road/trail??? Some of the passes don't get opened until sometime
in June. The Counties maintain the roads in order for the Jeep rental agencies to profit. Bring a
camera, rainy weather gear, and consider a leaner mainjet for your wheeler. Imogene Pass is right
at 13,000 feet, as are many others in that area. I enjoy the area most in early September, when the
crowds have thinned and the Aspens are starting to turn.
