Digital Dash for Rhino
#2
The 2006 Rhino does not have a fuel gage, but I am giving serious consideration to checking to see if they can retrofit one as it is next to impossible to tell how much fuel you have by looking at the tank.

I just installed and after mkt gauge for the fuel tank, took about 3 hrs,but is is great.I also installed a digital dash gauge, and you need to change out your heat sender on th engine, cost around forty bucks.

Yamaha added the fuel gauge on 2007 models. I installed one on my 06 model and its very straightforward, hardest part is drilling the hole into the top of the fuel tank. I also mounted matching engine temperature and voltage gauges.
I have read where some owners have mounted a light on the backside of the fuel tank, operated by a dash mounted switch. With the light on the fuel level is easily read through the sight gauge. A RED light works best. Simple & cheap way of getting it done.
