I was wondering if you found the problem with the starter? I have a 01 raptor and I have been haveing the same problem,That is the starter cylanoid chattering. I can touch the two post and start it so I went and bought a new cylanoid and the problem is still happening. I have chased all the wires down and have not located any grounded or crossed wires.
Does anyone have any ideas. Thanks Jeremy
