I was interested in this thread because I just bought a 96 warrior for playing around with as I am usually a two - wheeled guy. My neutral light doesn't work either. When I try to shift into revers it moves backwards and then just dies. It will not start in reverse at all with clutch in/out. I really don't know too much about these as I am brand new to quads. Any help from the experts here would be greatly appreciated.

 

Can you pull in the clutch and roll it with it in reverse with it not running? If not it seems something is binding in the gear box.
