The airbox mods I have are a pro design clamp on foam 6 1" holes in top of lid w/foam plugs, the top of the box (inside) is all reamed smooth and the flaps in the snorkel are cut out. I am right around sea level maybe 300' above. Before the mods I was at 145 and 150 mains with the air screw out 2 turns after the piston and cam it had nothing w/ this setup so I jumped to 165 and 170 I was wondering if maybe a dyno jet or gytr jet kit would be the right way to go here?

 

get the gyt-r kit it should help out a bit!!

Being a pred owner, and having messed around the other day racing my friends rappy. stock for stock it was close. If he had any mods I would not had a chance.So I say you obviosley are not dialed in ,but when you are the pred will get smoked...

 

Does this kit come with needles pilots and jetting suggestions for engine mods? It is just a pain to keep pulling everything to get to the carbs.

 

Everything comes with it, I got mine for around 50 bux or so, but call your nearest dealer and talk to him, he/she will let you know what to do!! Or if you have any other questions just aks me!!

I'd say you're way too rich for your airbox mods. I'd recommend throwing away the lid entirely. Then you'll probably need to go even bigger on the mains. But your Predator problem will be easily solved.

 

I think the GYTR kits are back ordered right now. But in the meen time I would get rid of the lid, 25 pilots at least, clips on 4th groove, 175/180 mains and check and adjust the float level. If it doesn't run good with that I would check your cam timing, in fact I would probably do that anyway.

Does your machine FEEL faster than it was before? You should be able to feel a big difference. Maybe the predator was lying about being stock. We all do it.
