why was I smoked by a predator?

I wonder if it's possible that the rod that actuates the decompression pin is 180 degees out. That would cause your pin to allways be out and loosing compession. Just a thought.

I liked those vids, Looks like it would be fun. Thats the bad thing about sand that I can see, you about have to have a high dollar modded quad to fit in. I'd feel like I was riding my 300ex if I took my stock 400 to a place like that. guess I'll stick to woods riding

Theres lots of stock and piped 400ex out riding through the dunes having a blast. Drag racing is just a little taste of the fun at the dunes. Theres plenty of stock and piped Ex's to drag race with for competition. Do the dunes if you ever get the chance. jmo.

No, but they will help. Just don't stop on an uphill slope and you'll be fine. That logic applys to quads that have paddles also. My first trip to the dunes I did not have paddles and still had a blast. But, I knew I'd make many more trips so i bought paddles.

if you ever find your way down here to utah give me a holler and ill race you. I might not win but ill give you a hell of a race even with your extra 250 cc's. unless its on a track and then you have no chance.

If I was set up for a track (tires, swingarm, a-arms) like you, then it would be a race on a track. Face it, 416s can't run with the big dogs, so spare me your garbage. I've heard it all, since everybody has a 400, 416 or 440ex around here, nobody's come close in drags...
