I have financed with yamaha for the past couple of years on different atvs, they are not bad, you just have to make that payment when it is due. I have not been hosed, except for them not finding a title and I had to get a duplicate.
What I do is use them for their low interest rate and then either pay it off, or finance it another way. I get about 10 credit card offers a week that have really low rates for the first year or so. I have bounced things around with credit cards before and it works too.
Anyway, just wanted to throw that out.

I faxed a letter to 9 different dealers this morning and have heard back from 3. One of which would not quote a price over the telephone.
The other two beat the price I was given yesterday (6844) by 800, and 1000 dollars. I don't know about you all's budget, but a thousand dollars is a big difference!
Thanks for the reply.

Yep, $1000 lower is great. I dont know the pricing on the particular model, but If they wont deal over the phone or email, I dont talk to them.
I always shop around and always get good deals. I usually have to shop in the city, then talk to my local dealer and I have yet to have them not match another deal.
good luck and congrats

If you have the time you may want to go to another state so you dont have to pay the taxes. (Or just say it is farm use) You might try the shops in Durant Oklahoma. I dont think it will be but an hour or so drive for you.
