Default Anyone else have this problem?

I have a 2002 Big Bear 4wd with around 900 miles on it. I just noticed that it was blowing oil from a tube in the front of the chassis. After tracking the hose, I found that it was coming from the rear differential. The gear oil was changed about a year ago, so it being overfilled recently wouldn't be the cause. This doesn't make any sense to me why all of a sudden gear oil would be spraying out of an overflow tube. Any suggestions on how to correct this problem or why it is occuring? Thanks.

The same thing happened to our 2002 Big Bear. We didnt worry about it too much, and went riding on it anyway. The next time we checked it (out on the trails) it wasnt leaking oil anymore, so i cant really tell you how to fix it.

i wonder if this is a common problem?
