#21
and ive never had less than two...once when i changed the filter i only put two in cause people on the forum said to but then i added about .3 quarts and then this time. but the way i see it i am at worst only .5 quarts under and its prob less than that beaus there is always some left in the engine and its 2.5 for total. i guess im fine. Im definately gonna check that clutch thing. So what does everyone else think. I did damage or im fine?

thank you so so so much airaptor. wow, if you ran it for twenty minutes without oil, i would feel comfortable running it for a lifetime witih only 1.5qrts. thanks for the story i really appreciate it. i can get sleep now.
as for teh smell, thats the first thing im gonna is check the cable...after yelling at the guy at my stealership who tightened the drain plugs way way way tooo much when he did my oil as part of break in chekup. I cut my pinky open when i finnaly got it to move. I was actually surprised i didnt just rip out the threads. All my hard work buying a torque wrench and paying close attention to their specs, these guys prob dont even have a torque wrench. I cant wait to reem them a new a$$hole.
The smell whatever it is is not coming out of teh exhaust pipe. and its not only smelling when its running. It seems like teh aroma kinda adheres to the materials on the quad and becomes part of it. The clutch is what i remember when i first got my warrior the guy said it was way out of adjustment. So maybe the guy was inadvertantly burnin the clutch and didnt even know it. O well, i hope the stealership jettin me right, i dont wanna make another trip there for a long time.
Thanks again for your story airraptor. I think i now have the guts to study for my final today. later

just curious if anyone else has any similar stories.
If it is in fact the clutch burning, where would the smell be coming out of? the exhuast, or just have the aroma coming out of the whole bike? thanks
