YFZ450 - Kickstart kit from GYT-R!!!!!
#34
No it wasn't me. I haven't rode my 250R since I got back from Oregon Dunes in the middle of June. I wasn't at Pismo that weekend either. I was over there the 4th of July weekend and the weekend of AUG 1,2,&3 on my new YFZ450.

if the yfz's battery setup is similar to most other quads you will need to get a w/b battery eliminator kit which acts as a regulator like the old battery did. when i removed my starter and bat. from my scrambler i just wired in a capacitor from radio shack and have not had any lighting trouble. if you do not hook anything up you will be running the risk of blowing bulbs at high rpm's.

Man i dont know how accurate my scale is here but i slapped my battery on it and it showed alittle over 6 lbs and if the yfz starter motor weight's near what the rapter motor weight's it will be between 7-8 lbs im sure... i'll weight one at work monday and find out for sure

how much is that7-10 lbs loss going to cost? Dry light or low carb beer, or beef up the performance and compensate for the weight! Of course i am over 250 so 10 pounds for a kick start would help as much as one less six pack!
