Default Lower..... how does it feel baby?

I have the front and rear, but in the pics the rear is not as low as it could go, i like it higher for drag racing. The rear is an adjustable strut. The front came with brackets that lowered it but not too much so i made some new brackets to make it even lower. the brackets on ebay are made for the bottom of the shocks. I kind of like that idea better than mine, but mine works.

soooo, how far would u say the stock kit lowered the front? I think that rear strut sounds nice.... sounds real solid to me.

id guess about 2 inches. I really like the back u can adjust it to the right height by turning a nut.

DING DING, that sounds like a winner, ill have to take a look at my rappy this evening to see what a 2 inch lowering would do to the front end, but that rear strut is a WINNER unless someone shows me sumthin better...

You want the Elka's with zero pre load. I think they call it SSD. If you are getting Elkas anyway there isn't any reason not to really.

If you just want it lower, you can also flip the linkage in the back. I don't think you really want to air it out like this, or with the lowerring kit in the front that rudy is talking about. I'm not 100% sure but if it is made like the ones I have seen I would be skeptical about it. IMHO

The SSD will lower the front approximately 2 inches.

No Problem. If you need exacts about the shocks you might want to PM Ridley. He knows his stuff about MX and Raptors.
