Air- YOU did LIE, you posted on june 14th in the thread that bad686r started and you know it. You are a LOSER. You are knowingly spreading false info. I hope they revoke you respected member status. No need to lie to try to look good. It will come back and haunt you. Be a big man and admit you lied to all on here. I would expect better out of a person who fights for our country and the values we have here in the USA

Amen! Brother! Preach it.
I know that my 727 is damn strong, and the 686 ain't to far behind.. if my 2500 is the diffence in first and second then hell yeah I'm happy!
There will not be many bikes out at the drags we are going to run with it, and that is off straight motor power no alky, ignition, timing advance, or any other little mods... Keep in mind my bike is fully set up for hill climbing not drag racing. Me and Clayton both have alot of tunning to do. But I do see a first and second place bike if we tune them properly. Considering the only bikes to beat me and what they were I have to say trinity did do something right! I will put it like this after it ran people were more than a little curious to know what was in the engine!
Ow yea and 14 I may be giving you or Bob a call later today about some parts!
Peace out all!!!!

Mark,
Look....I'm trying to diffuse the arguing. So far you've called Air a liar, an idiot and a loser. You're the one one who is going to have a "time out" soon if you don't cease the personal attacks. Stop the name calling.
You can still disagree but please do so without the put-downs.

Honestly if you wanta outrun most ported banshees and ALL piped rappys, buy a GOOD exaust, I have the CT HO kit, some people say the sparks I've nver had one so I can't comment on that. If you gear it right run the right paddles have the right Kit (CT H.O.) and the right gearing and most off all you don't weight freaking 250lbs your gona whoop ***..... Thats the ONE BIG thing i've got going over pretty much ANYONE out there is I'm a 6'3" 155lb Bean Pole

Dbeck- I am sorry. Air posted it that way to get attention when he knew better. I have no more comments for this thread. I am done with it. Conversation, help and thoughts are what this is about. Posting lies does nothing to help anyone.

Craycraft will build a 727 and has some out there. I never ran king at FSW, never made a ***** out run on the hill. Sorry the ****** came in. As far as a craycraft 727 goes be prepared to spend big money.

The way i read the original post was is the trinity 727 worth the money and does the torgue and top speed a big difference. The answer is no. Bore size is not that big a deal either if you have a well built motor. Stock 660, 102mm bore is 686. The 26cc's does more for the combustion chamber than anything else on the flow. A 105mm bore is a 727 41 cc's is not that big a deal. Most 727 claim they run pump gas. I would rather have a high comp 686 and save the $$. The adapter plate used to mount the carbs looks poorly designed to me. I have seen it, look at it and held. Robertson makes one that appears to work better in principal although i have never touched seen or road it. If you decide to go trinity 727 i would have my crank assembly balanced and use a ti pin. Tell harry not to kill the comp ratio and run 107 or better octane. Building a 727 to run pump gas is a waste of money to me. If you are going to spent 4k or more make all the hp you can. You can afford the extra 15 bucks race gas will run you super unleaded in the average week end. Realibility is not that big of a issue. With proper maintaince the rings last a long time. I took mine apart 2 weeks ago and the rings were almost perfect after 2 years. The rocker arms were in great shape also. Build the monster you want ride it and maintain it and it will provide you a lot of good times. Building a 727 is not difficult. Most shops can do it. No real; secrets just time consuming and expensive for the little extra you may or may not get. While the 727 claim they never get beat they are not above the rest. King or air posted rob johnson makes 69hp with his 686 and i made 67 and the 727 there made 62 and 65. It is close anyway you look at it. The 727 should make more torgue than a 686 but not rev as high. That 105 mm piston is heavy and the carrillo rod is also. Not worth it to me but others have no problem forking over the cash.
