broken tie rod

 

what is a bone stimulator and where can I get one. I got the stitches out last night. I look like frigen frankenstein. 14 stitches. they cut it in a "L" shape. but the doc said it was healing good and it should be off in 4 weeks. I have to get a new x-ray every month for 2 or 3 more months though.

I have the same L shaped scar on the side of the wrist & a little scar on the bottom where he put the screw. The top L shaped is were they graft the bone from forearm to the broken bone. My dotor set me up with one but it had to be approved by my insurance company, dotor told them that it might not heal good without one so now I have one. It's called a "EXOGEN2000+" machine made by Smith+Nephew get your dotor to help you out getting one. I'm not really sure about the PH # (800) 836-4080
I have just started my 4th week of physical therapy & it sucks, many more months to go.

thanks! they took my graft from my elbow. I have 5 stitches there.

 

Not a prob. maybe that elbow graft will work better than my forearm graft.
