I am also interested in the paintng of the plastic, mine has quite a unique look to it, I like to call it brush stroke stress mark. I agree that replacement plastic is expensive, paint has to be cheaper, just wonder how it holds up.

paint is expensive. To have a nice job your looking at 800-1500. The paint holds up, but i wouldnt put a lot of stress on it.

Here is a really good trick to know to get out the white stress marks.

Put a hair dryer to it it heats up the plastic and removes the white marks.

Good luck oh yeah and don't over heat it I am sure there are hair dryers out there that can burn a hole right through you plastics.

Take a hair dryer and turn it on high against your hand it will burn. If a girl is stupid and holds the hair dryer in one spot well she probably already has a hole in the head.

Thanks for the hair dryer trick, I've tried it, works pretty good, turns the white faint blue. Only problem every couple of rides there's new ones ha ha.
What if you got the clear fullbore plastic, what color would the stress marks be?

Yah, thanx for the hair dryer trick too , i will try it when i get some stress marks but i have a friend that will appreciate that trick i think that the clear plastic would have white stress marks in it just like the other colors, im not for sure but i have a pretty good idea that it would.
