Default Does Jetting Affect The Choke

I re-jetted my raptor from 146-148DJ to 150-155DJ and everything seems fine except when I try to fire it it for the first time in the morning. If I completely choke it the bike wont fire up at all. If choke it half way it fires up right away. The bike feels strong everywhere. if i choke it when the bike is running it will die? Any suggestions

Did you make any adjustments to the air/fuel screw on the carbs?

That was already done when I installed the dyno jet kit. It ran fine but I decided to take off the lid on the airbox, so I figured I would jet up. Do you have to adjust them again?

Yeah you have to adjust for the extra air going in to the carbs since you removed the lid form the air box. Check you choke cable and make sure its not making the choke stick half on
Hope that helps

Cheers
