finally, I got my Raptor. I have been wanting one for awhile, hell been wanting another sport bike since I sold my 250x back in 93.

Purchased from Bardwell Yamaha of course. They had 03's and 04's, the 03's were $300 cheaper

I will take many more pics I'm sure, but I have a few (on the trailer shots) in my sig.

now, what to do first........

Congratulations on the purchase! I am sure you will love your bike. As for the first mod, I would definetely say get a pro-flow with either a K&N or foam filter, because the first weekend I had mine down at the dunes, after I got home, I took the filter off and there was sand in the intake boots, and now it smokes a little on startup. Oh well, that's Yamaha. But in the end, just ride it and enjoy the heck out of it!

what would something like that cost? Would I need to rejet?

I do plan on getting a pipe too, just not right now
