Glad you asked that. I'm wondering too. As a person on a (tight) budget, what is the best all around tire for the blaster (dirt, gravel, some rock, and mud) for a reasonable price? Approx. how much? Best place to buy?

Also, since we ride on the dunes as often as we can make the trip, what is the best reasonably priced tire for sand (Oregon, Moses Lake). Again, best place to buy? Cost with rims?

Well it depends on what kind of riding you do.....One of the cheapest tires that i found is the fast trekker,which is supposed to be a pretty ok all around tire...If you drive in loose conditions i would say get the Kenda claw or the razr 2......If you ride in hard pack conditions probably the turf tamer....I dont know what paddle would be best but i know rocky mountain atv has the best prices on tires ive seen

Most of the tires are basically the same. Just different names, and maybe a slight variation in tread pattern. I run GBC R/A Shredders which look just like ITP Holeshots, and Maxxis Razr's and theyre a lil cheaper. It all depends on what name you want to run. I personally dont think a 1/16 or 1/8 of an inch difference in tread pattern will make that much of a difference. I got mine from a friend in town who owns a tire shop. So he gave me a deal.

 

I have yet to find a good set of tires for a Blaster. They are all to big. They ride the plastic. The stocks are 21x10x8, and nobody has that size in aftermarket.

 

Check out rocky mtn they have a good selection of tires for some of the best prices around.

 

I ran 20in. on 10's dunlops. I had 18in fast trekkers and loved them. just no clearance so i sold them. when I pick up my raptor I'm going to get 20in trekkers.
